Many of the patients presenting a beginning movement disorder primarily diagnosed as Parkinson´s disease were assessed with DAT-Scan or F18-Dopa-PET. As described by other groups, a considerable part of these scans showed not a pattern typical for Parkinson´s disease, but a normal one (called Scans without evidence of dopaminergic deficite or SWEDDS). We present a reevaluation of 16 patients with normal dopaminergic imaging on average 62 month after the imaging. We reevaluated neurological examination, UPDRS, Levodopa-test, Hoehn and Yahr Scale, Schwab and England activites of daily living-scale, Montgomery-Asperg Depression Scale, PDQ39 and Nuernberger Self Evaluation Scales. The goal was to evaluate the clinical outcome and characteristics of patients with a clinically probable Parkinson"s disease but normal DAT-Scan or 18F-Dopa-PET.
