Abstract
Up to now Artscan® is the only established indentation instrument to classify cartilage stiffness during arthroscopy. In routine arthroscopy, problems in correct positioning of the indenter on the surface were realized. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the influence of wrong placement of the indenter on the accuracy of the measurement.
