Abstract
Polarimetry capable antennae, with a unique design feature, are presented which were used to perform radar cross section (RCS) measurements of traffic signs at 77 GHz. An analysis of the results in the light of near field phenomena is presented and compared with previous work. It has also been shown, that guide posts have a unique RCS signature and that this can be used to discriminate them from metal posts.
