In this work, four different topics concerning crystallization phenomena in miniemulsions and the production of thin inorganic films from nanoparticles on surfaces were discussed. Therefore not only the influences of the continuous phase but also the influences of surfactants on the crystallization in miniemulsion were investigated. For the formation of homogenous crystalline ITO-films, the crystallization of dispersed ITO-precursor particles had to be suppressed so that the crystallization sets in ITO-precursor particle films are annealed and form the ITO-films.
