Kristallisation multinärer Verbindungen aus einer KOH-Schmelze - Vergleich von Elektrokristallisation und Hochtemperaturlösungskristallisation

The goal of the experiments was the synthesis of compounds with elpasolit-like structure by means of electrocrystallization from high-temperature KOH-solution. The resulting compounds were compared with the products from high-temperature solution (HTS) cooling experiments with the same element-systems used for electrocrystallization. The products were characterized by SEM, XRD, TG/DTA and magnetic measurement. No compound with elpasolit-like structure could be identified. The compounds fully identified are KBiO3, PbTe and BaPbO3. The first two form only during electrocrystallization, the latter one can also be isolated from HTS-experiments.
