Abstract
This document describes the validation of the CACTOS software components. This validation is done in multiple iterations. The first iteration aims to deliver a current validation of the CACTOS Runtime tools as they currently stand. This is validated within the two use case scenarios. For each scenario in CACTOS (Business Analytics, Scientific Computing), a set of validation “scenarios” have been discussed and detailed to the point where they can be applied to the concrete technical solution and deployment. Currently from both scenario stakeholder a number of “scenarios” have either been fulfilled or partly fulfilled and are detailed within this document. The validation results will be defined in two iterations: • First iteration is reported in deliverable D7.4.1 at PM 18 and will be used to derive future actions (the document at hand). • Second iteration will be reported in deliverable D7.4.2 at PM 36, with respect to future commercialization. The document consists of three chapters covering the validation process: Defining the goals that the software should meet, validation of individual tools and validation by use case. The results are then brought together for a final conclusion.
