AbstractThe objective of this thesis was the preparation of functionalized thiophene-comprising oligomers and Ru(II) sensitizers for application in organic solar cells. As electron-rich unit S,N-heteroacenes were implemented in the dyes. The optoelectronic properties of these compounds were studied as well as their photovoltaic performance in different types of organic solar cells.dc.description.abstract
