This experimental study deals with Csikszentmihalyi"s Flow theory to explain the effects seen in Adventure therapy in children and adolescents with various psychological disorders.
We find that Flow can be regarded as one factor contributing to therapeutical effects found in our setting. Adventure therapy, mediated by Flow experiences induced by our setting, seems to have positive impact on the social behaviour, self-esteem and practical competences of the study group.
