Psychische Störungen bei Autoimmunthyreoiditis (Hashimoto)
Although thyroid dysfunction are of great importance and Hashimoto thyroiditis, HT has a prevalence of 10% in the general population, little is known about the importance of HT in psychiatry. A first retrospective study on psychiatric disorders in patients with HT is presented in this thesis, which includes all psychiatric diagnoses. This study shows that the diagnosis of HT in psychiatry is only known in a small fraction of cases, and that it is detected late. Limitations of the study consisted in its retrospective design.
