Abstract
The aim of this thesis was the synthesis of donor-acceptor substituted oligothiophenes for organic solar cells. During the characterization and evaluation of these dyes the focus laid on gathering structure-property relationships, which should in turn enable the synthesis of new compounds with improved properties and solar cell performance.
