AbstractOver the last decades, numerous developments in the field of standard separation sciences as well as in bioanalytics and biosensor technology have resulted in micro and nanoliter detection volumes. This has motivated the development of suitable and sensitive detection methods for these small volumes. In the present dissertation, detection methods based on cavity-ring-down-spectroscopy for standard separation methods and bioanalytical techniques were developed.dc.description.abstract
